Regulation Changes in Australia
What does this mean for you?
Healthcare professionals who perform "higher risk cosmetic procedures" are now held to professional standards in what we advertise online, post on social media, and disclose over the phone, email or SMS.
Photographs, videos, and images must be used responsibly for the purpose of information and/ or education about higher risk cosmetic procedure only.
More information below:
Price Lists?
It is against the law to advertise pricing for prescription medications in Australia. During your in person consultation prices for services will be provided after a comprehensive assessment has been made.
Information about brands/products used?
All information regarding prescription medication including brands can only be given inside a consultation with a healthcare professional.
Before & After Images?
The use of before and after images of prescription medications is banned in Australia. Before and after photos of high risk cosmetic procedures or skin treatments may be used under strict guidelines.
What does this mean for patients?
Like a GP clinic, reception staff or health professionals cannot give advice about health information or prescription medications online, over the phone or via email.
You will be directed to book with the practitioner and information can only be obtained inside a consultation.
This includes pricing and before and after photos.
Appointments?
This is performed via the Book now button below.
We ask that patients continue to treat staff with respect. If you are not deemed suitable for a medical procedure you will still be required to pay the consultation fee.
As medical professionals we must do no harm to our patients, this will sometimes mean declining your treatment requests.
Not everyone is a suitable candidate, even though you may want treatment.
We understand how frustrating certain things are now, the inability to see before & after images, knowing pricing and obtaining general information outside of a consultation. Please also understand these regulations are beyond our control.
These regulations only apply to medical professional performing these procedures in Australia. Healthcare professionals are held to certain standards that are enforced by our governing bodies and as part of the national law.
Breach of the law and professional guidelines can result in hefty fines, loss of our medical registrations, and even improsionment.
Thank you for understanding and being patient with what is now the "new norm".
